How can we cut down on trash? Think of ways to reuse things...
Magazine-make a pinata, wrap ornaments, use as packing to store glass objects in a box
Yogurt cups-toothbrush holder,put on your bike pedals, add a handle and make a pail
Paper bags-lunch bags, popcorn bags, breathe in it if you are really scared

First Grade Homework
Spelling words have increased second semester. The spelling list goes home on Monday. Do you want that gold star on the test at the end of the week? Here is a good study tip: Read it, write it, say it, hear it. Then on the days of a busy schedule have notecards for the car to practice from.
The math assignment goes home on Mondays along with the spelling list.
Read aloud 10 minutes for the reading log. Reading logs are due the last school day of the month.
